Wood and metal - Metallica 1735 – The new product line of the Sattler Manufacture
Model Metallica 1735 opens the entry in the world of the precision pendulum clocks. The combination of wood, glass and metal inlays gives the case an up-to-date appearance and because of its middle size of 105cm is it easy to integrate it in each living room.
The movement has 10 precision ball bearings and 2 jewels. The gilded gears drives the temperature compensated 5/6 invar pendulum. The open silvered regulator-dial gives a view on the Graham escapement with jewel pallets. A barometric compensation compensates dependable the variations of the air-pressure.
The tungsten weight (with ball bearings) makes a running period of one month possible. Belong to the high quality of manufacturing, the use of high-grade materials and the compensation facilities our new model Metallica 1735 reaches an accuracy of 3-4 sec./month.
Case: solid precious wood black varnished or cherry or walnut, each with inlays of metal, glass on 3 sides and at the top of the case, so you have the possibility to illuminate the movement, crank key and other accessories in a secret box at the bottom of the case.
Materials: solid brass for the plates, completely hardened pinions and axles, hand-domed, polished and blued hands, silvered open regulator-dial, 5/6 invar pendulum, tungsten weight, pulley with ball-bearings, 2 jewelled pivots and 10 ball-bearings.
Technique: Sattler-movement calibre 2005, winding period 30days, barometric and temperature compensation, 2 jewel pallets.
