Nautical accessories – hygrometer, barometer, thermometer
Together with the noble Nautis Ship´s clock the manufacture Erwin Sattler developed another three useful instruments in the same style.
A thermometer, showing temperature in degrees Celsius, a barometer with aneroid and an additional hand in the crystal to mark the actual airpressure in hPa. The third instrument is a precision hygrometer showing relative humidity in % by using the so called supratherm technology.
The cases of the significant smaller additional instruments are turned of solid brass, fine grinded and nickel plated for corrosion protection.
With three screws the cases can securely be fastened in a ship. For mounting at home a simple hanging device in the back is provided. Like many Sattler precision clocks, the solid brass dials are fine sand blasted, silvered and clear lacquered for protection. Fine blued Breguet hands with the characteristic counter weights indicate with the sharp tip the exact value on the scales.
