Time Balance – the new multiple talented clock of the manufacture Erwin Sattler
Multi purpose precision clock for table, board or wall. To add a new modell to the Sattler clock collection, we present the Time Balance. The name is because of a solid stainless steel cylinder, whitch determines the level of the clock case.
When used as a table clock, the cylinder is positioned with two pivots in the back wall, so the clock has a level of 40° and is very god to read when standing on a desk.
Does the clock has to stand in a book shelve, the cylinder can be positioned in another way and the clock stands nearly vertical.
When the cylinder is completely removed, the can be used with a hanging device on the back as wall clock.
Two radio controlled movements drive the hands and guarantee always exact timing.
The seperately screwed dial rings for hours and minutes as well as the elevated second scale make a precious and three dimensional effect.
In the upper section the case, made in typical Sattler quality out of solid wood, is divided horizontally by the 2mm thick dial.
A new sensational method enables us now to build the Time Balance with a real steel surface. The raw case is set up like usual in a fine solid wood construction and is afterwards treated with a new cold steel spray technique.
Solid metal is turned into powder and then converted into a liquid composite with 95% of real metal. Then it is sprayed on the surface of the case where it builds a stainless coating with a thickness of 20 to 30 micron which makes the case nearly last forever.
After hardening, the polishing takes at least 10 hours and the result is a real steel surface with fantastic metallic shine.
Wether on a table, on a shelve or at the wall, the Time Balance can be used in many ways and will always attract attention.
