Rotalis 60 - High End precision watchwinder for 60 watches - elegant combination with clock, barometer and hygrometer
Mechanical wristwatches are much more than just timekeepers. The pleasant ticking, the intelligent interaction of precisely manufactured components, and the fascination of aesthetic craftsmanship has made them collectibles. For these reasons, many people own more than one mechanical timekeeper outfitted with a classic movement.
Unfortunately, however, you can wear only one watch on your wrist at a time. The others just wait around in a safe or a case for their occasional wear. This is where the problems start. Before wearing them, the watch’s mainspring must be wound, the time set, and date adjusted. Especially watches with a full calendar take some time to set, unless you have an exclusive Rotalis watch winder by Erwin Sattler for your automatic watches.
It finally arrived, Rotalis 60, the flagship among the watchwinders. This masterpiece has everything, what proved so well in the smaller precision watchwinders.
If you look at the Rotalis 60, you think you see two big flat screens. In reality this are two 18mm thick bulletproof glass plates, which only become transparent when the 100 LED´s inside are switched on.
The next sensation: on the side of the case is a small box: A so called fingerprint reader. When the collector puts his fingertip here, the two heavy safety glass plates open.
This means, that only authorised persons with registered fingerprint can open the winder. This also works with a remote control that can be hidden somewhere else.
Behind the glass plated are 60 watchwinders with the unique Sattler - Beluwo® technology.
This machine makes it possible for the first time to carefully treat watches from the past, present, and future in the way they deserve. The settings can be adjusted individually for each watch, and the winding speed and direction of each electronic motor is adjustable. The Rotalis fulfills the demands of each watch movement more precisely and comfortably than every other conventional watch winder. Its base is the patented new Sattler Beluwo® watch winder technology. For the first time, collectors can find the optimal settings for their valuable watches in an enclosed watch data base and can transmit these via Beluwo® 's "radio module" to the store of the Rotalis 60. Watch data can be transmitted directly from any PC wireless to the winder, that mean you sit in your office and program your winder in the living room.
Thus, daily questions about which movement, which direction, and the number of rotations and direction now belong to the past.
The intelligent control simulates the course of a day with a fourteen-hour active phase and ten-hour passive phase. The rotations needed per day are optimally portioned out during the active phase.
Naturally, the Rotalis also functions in a conventional way—without data transfer if that is so desired. Intelligent standard programming keeps each watch running perfectly every day. The highlight of this exceptional technology is that after having been wound, each watch is precisely positioned in the vertical 12 o'clock position
.The Navis 24, a mechanic shipclock with 8 day power reserve, second time zone and date has a barometer and a thermometer to the left and right side. The heavy case of the winders is supported by two strong stainless steel columns and is connected to the wall inside.
Individualisation is possible by an exchangeable front panel that can be delivered in different wood versions. For example walnut, maple, black with metal inlays or carbon only to mention a few.
Finally the Rotalis 60 by Erwin Sattler sets a new benchmark in the segment of premium watch winders. In terms of aesthetics, quality and technology this machine shows the importance of the watch collection and the precious time in general.
